Humpty Dumpty

Humpty Dumpty

Lyrics

Humpty Dumpty wanted to see,
The world from up high, as tall as a tree.
He spotted a wall, so sturdy and wide,
“From way up there, I’ll see countryside!”

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men,
Couldn’t put Humpty together again!

He wanted to watch the birds in the sky,
Wave at the sun as it drifted by.
He laughed and he wobbled, tried not to slip,
But then came the tumble — a mighty flip!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men,
Couldn’t put Humpty together again!

The king’s men hurried, they tried their best,
But Humpty just needed a little rest.
Eggshells scattered, yolk on the ground,
Still Humpty’s story goes round and round!

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
He dreamed of the clouds, he dreamed so tall,
Now we still remember Humpty… and his wall!

Humpty Dumpty climbs high to see the world from above, but one wobbly moment leads to a famous fall. A playful musical retelling of the classic nursery rhyme everyone knows and loves.
