Shipping, Returns & Digital Product Policy

Thank you for shopping with Honey Hop Kids. We sell both physical books and digital products, including printable downloads, ebooks, activity pages and other downloadable content. Please read this policy carefully before placing your order.
1. Physical Book Orders
Processing Times
Physical book orders are processed after payment has been received successfully.
Orders are usually processed within 24 hours, excluding weekends and public holidays. During busy periods, launches or seasonal campaigns, processing may take slightly longer.
Once your order has been shipped, you will receive a confirmation email with tracking details where available.
Shipping Areas
We currently ship physical products to addresses within South Africa.
Customers are responsible for entering the correct delivery address at checkout. Honey Hop Kids cannot be held responsible for delays, failed deliveries or additional costs caused by incorrect or incomplete delivery information.
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are fixed at R90 for standard delivery. Orders of R500 or more qualify for free delivery.
Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to an error on our side or a defective/damaged product confirmed by us.
Delivery Times
Estimated delivery times are 3–5 business days for main regions and 5+ business days for outlying areas.
Delivery times are provided as a guide only and may be affected by courier delays, public holidays, high-volume periods, incorrect delivery details or events outside our control.
Honey Hop Kids is not responsible for courier delays once an order has been handed over to the delivery partner, but we will assist where reasonably possible.
2. Damaged, Defective or Incorrect Physical Products
Please inspect your order as soon as it arrives.
If your physical book arrives damaged, defective, or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at:

Please include:
- Your order number
- A clear description of the issue
- Photos of the damaged, defective or incorrect item
- Photos of the packaging, if relevant
Once reviewed, we may offer a replacement, refund or another suitable resolution.
This does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection laws. Under South African consumer law, defective goods may give rise to remedies such as repair, replacement or refund depending on the circumstances.
3. Returns for Physical Books
We only accept returns of physical books where:
- The product is damaged or defective on arrival
- The incorrect item was supplied
- The return is required under applicable consumer law
We do not accept returns for physical books where:
- The customer changed their mind after purchase
- The book has been used, marked, damaged or altered after delivery
- The item was bought by mistake
- The customer ordered the wrong product
- The product is no longer wanted
To be eligible for a return, the product must be returned in its original condition, unless the return relates to a defect or damage that existed on arrival.
Return requests must be approved by us before the item is sent back.
4. Digital Products
Digital products include, but are not limited to:
- Ebooks
- Printable colouring books
- Printable activity sheets
- Downloadable PDFs
- Digital storybooks
- Audio files
- Digital learning materials
- Any other downloadable or electronically delivered content
Digital products are delivered electronically and do not require physical shipping.
After payment is confirmed, your digital product will be made available by download link, email, customer account access or another digital delivery method.
5. Refunds on Digital Products
Because digital products can be accessed, downloaded, copied or used immediately after purchase, all digital product sales are final once the product has been accessed, downloaded or delivered.
We do not offer refunds on digital products where:
- You changed your mind
- You bought the wrong item
- You no longer want the product
- You expected a physical product but purchased a digital product
- You do not have the correct software or device to open the file
- You have already downloaded or accessed the file
Before purchasing, please read the product description carefully to confirm whether the item is physical or digital.
Where required by applicable law, this policy does not limit your legal rights. Digital product refund exclusions should be clearly disclosed before purchase, especially where access or download begins immediately.
6. Problems Accessing a Digital Product
If you experience a technical issue accessing your digital product, please contact us at:

We will assist by resending the download link, checking the file access, or providing reasonable technical support.
A digital product may be eligible for replacement or correction if:
- The download link does not work
- The file is corrupted
- The wrong digital file was supplied
- The product materially differs from its description
In these cases, our first step will usually be to correct the issue or provide access to the correct file.
7. No Physical Shipping for Digital Products
Digital products are not shipped physically.
If you purchase a digital product, you will not receive a printed book or physical item unless the product page clearly states that a physical product is included.
It is the customer’s responsibility to check the product description before completing payment.
8. Mixed Orders: Physical and Digital Products
If your order includes both physical and digital products:
Digital products will be delivered electronically
Physical products will be shipped according to our shipping timelines
The digital product refund policy applies to digital items
The physical product returns policy applies to physical items
Refunds or returns for one part of an order do not automatically apply to the entire order.
9. Colour, Printing and Device Display Disclaimer
For physical books, colours may vary slightly from what appears on screen due to differences in device displays, print production and lighting.
For printable digital products, final print quality may depend on your printer, paper, ink, settings and print provider. Honey Hop Kids is not responsible for poor print results caused by customer printer settings, paper choice or third-party printing services.
10. Personal Use Only
Unless otherwise stated, digital products are sold for personal use only.
You may not:
- Resell digital files
- Share download links publicly
- Upload the files to other websites or platforms
- Copy, distribute or reproduce the files for commercial use
- Claim the artwork, stories, characters or designs as your own
- Use the files to create products for resale
All Honey Hop Kids content, including characters, illustrations, stories, songs, lyrics, layouts and digital files, remains the intellectual property of Honey Hop Kids or its rights holders.
11. Cancellations
Orders for physical books may only be cancelled before fulfilment has started.
Once a physical order has been packed, printed, dispatched or handed over to a courier, it can no longer be cancelled unless required by applicable law.
Digital product orders cannot be cancelled once the download, access link or digital file has been delivered.
12. Refund Processing
Approved refunds will be processed to the original payment method where possible.
Refunds may take several business days to reflect, depending on your bank or payment provider.
Shipping fees, transaction fees or courier fees may be excluded from refunds unless the refund is due to our error or a defective product.
