Honey Hop Kids

Don’t go with strangers

Don’t go with strangers

Lyrics

The park was sunny, the swings were free,
Mila was playing beneath a tree.
But a sneaky fox in a big brown coat
Crept in quietly… without a note!

He carried balloons and a bag of sweets,
With a great big smile for everyone he’d meet.
“Come with me!” he called with glee.
“I’ve got baby puppies behind that tree!”

But Mila stopped. She knew the rule.
She remembered Hopper’s safety school!
She stepped right back and she shouted, “NO!”
“I don’t know you, so I won’t go!”

NO, NO — I won’t go!
I don’t know you, so the answer’s NO!
I’ll step back, shout, and tell someone I know—
WEE-OO! Officer Hopper, GO, GO, GO!

The fox spun round and he dashed away,
Dropping balloons along the way!
“Wee-oo! Wee-oo!” the sirens cried—
Here came Hopper with Ben beside!

Through the sandpit, puff and spray,
Tiny sandy footprints flew away!
Hopper hopped with giant bounds—
“Stop right there!” echoed all around.

NO, NO — I won’t go!
I don’t know you, so the answer’s NO!
I’ll step back, shout, and tell someone I know—
WEE-OO! Officer Hopper, GO, GO, GO!

Up the ladder, down the slide,
The sneaky fox tried hard to hide.
But Ben pointed with all his might—
“Next He’s heading to the pond right!”

Round the duck pond, splish and splash,
The ducks all waddled from the dash!
Hopper laughed, “You can’t outrun
The police when everyone’s having fun!”

Across the bridge he leapt so high,
Trying every trick to say goodbye.
His long brown coat got caught—OH NO!
Down he tumbled in one big roll!

The balloons floated to the bright blue sky,
The sweets went bouncing way up high!
Hopper stood there, brave and tall:
Children only go with grown-ups they know!”

They all ran over to Mila’s side,
And Ben gave her a great big high five!
“You did it right! You stayed so brave!
You made the smart and safe choice today!”

If someone says, “Come here with me,”
Stay where you are—don’t leave the tree.
Step back, shout, and run to find
A grown-up you know every time!

NO, NO — I won’t go!
I don’t know you, so the answer’s NO!
I’ll step back, shout, and tell someone I know—
WEE-OO! Officer Hopper, GO, GO, GO!
