Daniel prays three times a day,
Trusting God to lead the way.
They throw him in the lions’ den,
Lions creep closer now and then.
Lions say: “Grr! Grr! Grr!”
But God’s angel comes from afar.
Lions roar: “ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!”
God is stronger — yes, He’s more!

Daniel feels afraid but bold.
He looks up and softly prays,
“God, please keep me safe always.”
Lions say: “Grr! Grr! Grr!”
But God’s angel comes from afar.
Lions roar: “ROAR! ROAR! ROAR!”
God is stronger — yes, He’s more!

Daniel calls: “Yes! He was here!”
An angel stood, the lions still,
God protected me from ill.”
Lions say: “Grr! Grr! Grr!”

God hears me and He hears you.
Hands together, voices say,
“Thank You, Lord, for today.”
